I have to agree that breast cancer awareness month is getting to be a huge national event. I have to admit it was great to see football players wearing pink. I was a race for the cure this past weekend in Baltimore and it was a great turnout. It was a bit cold and rainy but no one seemed to care. There was a booth there that had really cute pink ribbon blankets for sale and I bought one to stay warm. If you think you'd want one I got a card for the website it was http://www.adirondackfleece.com/thinkpink.php

Jayne--

Thanks for your inspirational blog. I read your Tale of Three Octobers and Pretty in Pink articles, and I love your points about the over-commercialization of "Pink" and the intensity that October brings to the breast cancer cause. I know your blog is mostly geared toward women, but I wanted to let you know that many men are proudly donning pink. Actually, at MenforaCause.org, we've created a new ribbon that represents both men and women. Men have a desire to show support for the women in their lives, and I really want them to feel represented in the cause.

Congrats on being cancer-free and congrats on the success of your blog. I hope you have a wonderful October celebrating your health.

Sincerely,
Anthony
